Sponsorship: Alex McMillan

Shaw is pleased to be sponsoring Alex McMillan again this year in the Speedway Junior Sedans. His dad Evan has provided us with a season update:

"This season we decided to park the old Datsun and started to build a new car from scratch. I hate to say this but thanks to COVID delaying the start of the season, it allowed me just enough time to get it finished ready for the first race meeting. So, we hit the track in December with a new Hyundai Excel much faster and competitive car but most importantly a lot safer. 

Boxing night at Carrick Alex won his first feature race and has won and placed in many races since. He has managed to bring the car home most nights with little to no damage. Which has been much appreciated as there ain’t a lot of time for repairs when we are working away. Same as last year Chuck has been on the pit crew with us ready to hit the spammers when needed and more importantly there to support Alex."

It is fantastic to see the development in Alex over the past two seasons and we wish him the best for his tilt at the state title!
