Speedway Season Final

The season final for the Junior Speedway was held at Latrobe on the 14th March.
The two Shaw sponsored drivers Alex and Billy both had eventful nights with
both boys rolling their cars!

Alex’s night ended in the second heat with the rollover, with the help of his dad
Evan, Shaw fitter Michael ‘Chuck’ Norris and Shaw bush mechanic Johnno
Sheehan. They repaired the car, but just missed out on making the third heat.

Billy qualified for the B main final after completing the three heats and was as
high as fifth until he got turned around and had a big roll over.

Both boys survived the action-packed night in good health and have really
developed over the season. After their dad’s spend the winter in the garage, they
should be ready to go for next season.
