Shaw are currently constructing a shoulder widening on Railton Main Road from Cement Works Road to Youngmans Road for the Department of State Growth. The project involves a substantial amount of earthworks for its size, which has been the primary focus of the team since commencement. Pavement placement has been running smoothly, with considerable sealing works programmed throughout December.

Gareth, Adam and Dennis have each had time in the supervisor’s seat; bringing their own flare to the team dynamic. Plum, Mitch and Corey have been heading traffic management operations, spotting and installing culvert extensions across the site. Frank, Terry and Brett have been busy with excavation works on site, and have had Brooksy and Kenny spotting for them before they left for Renison. Joelly has been jumping between building embankment and helping with culvert extensions. Chook and newbies Ryon and Phil have been driving the Shaw 10 yarder and the water cart, with Brian grading and Luka and Ben training with him. Danny has been helping with a Telstra relocation and culvert installation.

The team has performed exceptionally well and it is thanks to them that the project has been such a success so far.
